Thank you for joining us for the seventh annual St. Jude Spirit of the Dream, celebrating the achievements of African Americans who embody the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
All proceeds from this event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.
To learn more about next year's event, volunteer or sponsorship opportunities, or how to join our committee, please contact Sydney Watson at sydney.watson@alsac.stjude.org.
Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you help give kids with cancer around the world that chance. Together, we can save more lives.

Meet Lauren
When Lauren’s parents, Benita and Ken, brought their 17-month-old daughter for treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2005, they feared the worst.
She was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma, a difficult-to-treat cancer which temporarily robbed her of the ability to walk.
But Lauren displayed a kind of defiance that surprised her anxious family. Lauren has been cancer-free since 2005. As Lauren heads off to college, she wants the world to know she's more than 'the girl who had cancer.

Meet Quincy
In 2018, Quincy’s parents received devastating news: Quincy had a tumor on his kidney and needed to go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“His nurses made it a learning experience for Quincy. He took ownership of what was happening to him,” his mom said. “And that really helps you as a parent watching your child going through something like this.”
Quincy was treated at St. Jude for Wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer. He finished treatment in August 2018. Quincy hopes to return to St. Jude one day — as a surgeon helping other kids.
