Researchers at St. Jude are studying pediatric adrenocortical tumors (ACT) in several ways. The studies include:
- Learning how TP53 genes are involved in ACT,
- Testing the success of new drugs in a laboratory,
- Observing the health of people with ACT and family members over time, and
- Working with scientists from Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a research organization, on a new ACT treatment that combines chemotherapy and a new surgical approach.
