St. Jude MyChart

We encourage patients to create a St. Jude MyChart account when they turn 14. This helps them learn more about their care and health record. Most patients begin to manage their own accounts at age 18. 

A parent, guardian, or other legal consenter can sign up for proxy access if the patient is age 17 or younger. A proxy is a person who is allowed to act for another person. Proxy access lets you see the patient’s health record and send messages to the care team.

1. Create a St. Jude MyChart account in one of these ways:

• In person: You can sign up at Patient Registration or at the In the Know Desk at Family Commons.
• By phone: Call 901-595-4636 Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., or Saturday 8 a.m.–noon.
• Online: Fill out this online form. A St. Jude staff member will contact you during regular business hours.

2. Download the MyChart mobile app

To use St. Jude MyChart on your cell phone or another mobile device, download the mobile app first. You can also access your child’s account through the St. Jude MyChart webpage.

To use the app:

• Open the Apple App Store (if you have an iOS device) or the Google Play Store (if you have an Android device). 
• Search for MyChart. 
• Tap Install. 
• Tap Open or find the MyChart icon on your device. 
• Select St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital from the list. If you do not see it, search for St. Jude by name, state (TN), or ZIP code (38105)

To use the Our St. Jude app, you need a St. Jude MyChart account and password.

Use your St. Jude MyChart login for both accounts. This means that you only need to remember 1 username and password.

Use St. Jude MyChart to: 

• See a patient's health record 
• View schedules 
• Read education materials 
• Message your care team 
• Request refills 
• View test results 

Use the Our St. Jude app to: 

• Make travel plans 
• Reserve housing 
• Find places to eat on campus 
• Look up contacts 
• Find social events 
• Use maps to get around campus

Learn how to use St. Jude MyChart

You can borrow a MyChart Bedside iPad from St. Jude while your child is in the hospital. 

On the MyChart Bedside iPad, you can: 

• See your daily schedule 
• View treatment plans and medicines 
• Add personal events using the Happening Soon feature 
• Add approved events to your schedule (such as a phone call with grandma or a walk to Starbucks) 
• See test results 
• Review assigned education materials 
• Order food from Kay Kafe 
• Meet your care team 
• Write notes 
• Make audio and video recordings 

You can also: 

• Watch shows and movies 
• Play games using your own accounts and logins 

All personal information is erased from the St. Jude MyChart Bedside tablet when patients leave the hospital. 

I already have a MyChart account. Can I view all my records in one place?

Yes.

The Happy Together feature lets you connect your MyChart records from other health care facilities to your St. Jude MyChart account. 

You can see information such as: 

• Allergies 
• Health history 
• Medicines 
• Messages 
• Test results 
• Appointments

I already have a MyChart account. Do I need to set up 2 accounts with different usernames and passwords? 

No. 

Many patients have more than 1 MyChart account. Epic ID lets you use 1 login for participating MyChart accounts. 

Can my health care teams at home see my St. Jude records? 

Yes, if you give permission. 

Doctors and other providers outside St. Jude can view your St. Jude health information. They can also share information with St. Jude. This helps your care teams work together and care for your child safely.

What do I do when my clinic is closed? 

If you need help after hours, at night, or on the weekends or holidays, call the Infusion Center at 901-595-2441. 

If you are outside the Memphis area, call 1-866-278-5833, ext. 2441. The Infusion Center operates as an after-hours clinic. 

Should I use St. Jude MyChart in a medical emergency? 

No. Call 911 if your child needs help right away.

Use St. Jude MyChart only for routine questions and messages. Never use it for medical emergencies or urgent concerns.
