Eligibility Overview:

  1. Brief Summary

This study will research the impact of treatment status and development stage during treatment on social experiences among adolescents and early young adults (AYA) with cancer. Peer interaction during and after cancer treatment is critically important for AYA patients. The potential conflict between the developmentally appropriate need to spend more time with peers and the treatment-necessitated demand to rely heavily on parents and caregivers is particularly relevant. However, little is known about the impact of this conflict, and overall social experiences of AYA with cancer. Participants will complete questionnaires and may be interviewed. Caregivers may also complete questionnaires on family functioning and quality of life.

    Primary Objectives
