“The Baton Rouge affiliate team has turned into our family. Anytime we were scared about something, we would call and they were always there for us. And it meant everything to our family to have Eleanor treated in Baton Rouge and only have a 2-hour drive from home. We were able to give her some normalcy. We still had time at home. We still had family time. We were able to spend time together when we weren’t in the hospital. I think being able to see her siblings made a difference in her recovery.”
