Days of Remembrance Event Information

Deadline: Registration will close on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Up to 5 members of your family may attend Days of Remembrance. One person should complete the registration for the entire family. You can add family members on the Registration Summary page. All members of your family will be listed under 1 home address.

Please have the following ready when you register:

• Your child’s medical record number (MRN)
• A photo of your child to be shown during the closing service. You will also complete a HIPAA authorization form that allows us to use the photo.

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a registration number. Use this number if you need to update your registration. To make changes:

• Visit the registration page.
• Click Already Registered.
• Use the confirmation number.

Register for Days of Remembrance.

If you live 50 miles or more from Memphis, St. Jude will help with travel costs. We offer up to $500 in mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate or up to $500 airfare for each qualifying family.

If you live 50 miles or more from Memphis, we will provide 1 hotel room per family for Friday, February 27, at the Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis – Beale Street. The hotel is located about 1.5 miles from St. Jude, at 175 Peabody Place, Memphis, TN 38103.

We will email your hotel confirmation (and flight details, if needed) to you before you arrive. You can expect to receive this email the week before the event.

• Staying extra nights: During registration, you will be asked whether you would like to reserve the 1 hotel room provided by St. Jude for Friday, February 27. If you need extra nights (Thursday, February 26, or Saturday, February 28), we will reserve those dates for you. But you will have to pay for the cost of any extra nights. That cost will be $189 per night per room.
• Extra rooms: You will also be asked if you need an extra room for your family. If so, we will make the reservation for you. But you will have to pay for the cost of the extra room. That cost will be $189 per night per room.
• Hotel parking: Hotel parking is free for Friday night only. You must pay for parking expenses before or after Friday. That rate is $16 per night.
• Shuttle service: Shuttles will run between the hotel and event. A schedule will be shared before the event. Please note that no car seats are provided on any of the shuttles.
• Hotel cancellation: If you need to cancel your hotel room, please email Kiara.Jones@stjude.org at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance.
• Travel arrangements: Once you have completed your registration, please contact the St. Jude Travel Office to finalize your travel arrangements. Their contact information can be found below.

Visa requirements

If you are flying to the U.S. from another country, you may need a visa. Please check the visa rules for your situation. You will be responsible for all costs and documentation required to secure the visa.

Packing for DOR

The dress code for the weekend is casual. The weather in Memphis in February is typically cold, and the rooms may be chilly at times. Please dress accordingly.

St. Jude will provide the following meals for you and your family members:

• Friday: Boxed lunch and dinner
• Saturday: Light breakfast items and lunch

Note: If you’re staying at the Hampton Inn, breakfast is provided at no additional cost. It’s included in your room rate.

Mealtimes will be listed in the agenda in your registration confirmation email.
