How to Get Your Medical Supplies

You can pick up medical supplies in Family Commons.

Patient Supply Closet

Your clinic nurse at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital can order your child’s medical supplies for you. You can pick up the supplies at Family Commons on the 2nd floor of the Patient Care Center (PCC). The Patient Take Home Supplies stockroom is open from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Often, the supplies you order are ready the same day, so you can pick them up right away. If you do not pick up an order within 72 hours, your order may be canceled.

You can also have supplies delivered to housing.

Ordering after clinic hours

After clinic hours, a staff member in the Infusion Center can order supplies for you. Please limit after-hours orders to emergencies only.

If you must have the supplies before the next morning, a nursing clinical staff leader can get them for you. Call the Infusion Center at 901-595-2441 for help.

Ordering a large number of supplies

Sometimes your child may need a large number of supplies. When this happens, the supplies may have to come from a warehouse.

This type of order takes more time to fill. You might have to wait a few hours before your supplies are ready. The nurse or a Take Home Supplies staff member can tell you how long it will take.

In rare cases, the staff might have to order supplies from an outside business. That part of your order might take several days to fill. Your clinic nurse or Take Home Supplies staff will let you know if the supplies are coming from an outside vendor.

When supplies are not what you ordered

If the supplies you get are not what you ordered, tell your clinic nurse. The nurse will work with you to make sure you get what you need.

Ordering supplies when you are home

If you are home and need more supplies, St. Jude can often mail them to you.

If you do not get what you ordered, please call your primary clinic nurse as soon as you can. The nurse can find the order and correct it.
