There may be times when you face spiritual questions or you may just need someone to listen to you or pray with you. During these times, please call upon the staff in Spiritual Care Services. They are here to help you as spiritual friends, whatever your needs. They are not here to judge you or change what you believe. Their goal is to meet you where you are and help you explore how your faith can be a source of strength and comfort for you.
St. Jude has five chaplains available for patient and family needs. They provide grief counseling, opportunities for worship, sacraments, pastoral visits and offer inspiring written works. At your request, they can connect you with local churches or religious groups in Memphis.
The hospital’s two chapels are open to people of all religious beliefs. The chapel on the first floor of the Patient Care Center (near the south waiting area) is open 24 hours a day for personal meditation. You will find another chapel in the Danny Thomas / ALSAC Pavilion. It is open during regular Pavilion hours.
