Información demográfica del participante 

Tamaño del estudio 

Más de 1,600 pacientes de las regiones Sur, Este y Medio Oeste de los Estados Unidos actualmente forman parte de este estudio.   

Cuando el estudio comenzó en 2014, seguimos a participantes de hasta 25 años. Para capturar datos de toda la esperanza de vida de los pacientes con la enfermedad de células falciformes, expandimos el rango de edad para inscribir y seguir participantes desde el nacimiento hasta la adultez.
