    Biografía corta

I grew up about 50 miles from Memphis in the small town of Brownsville, TN.

I came to St Jude in August 2001. I had worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Methodist Brownsville Hospital since graduating from Baptist School of Nursing in spring of 1997. I had always loved working with children and I knew St Jude was one of the best places to start my pediatric nursing experience. I have worked with the Neuro-oncology team since I started at St. Jude and recently accepted the position of Coordinator for the Brain Tumor Program in March 2007. As Coordinator for the Brain Tumor Program, I am responsible for helping facilitate the consults and new patients that come into the brain tumor program. I am usually the first contact that families and physicians have with the brain tumor team at St Jude.

As a nurse, you always want to know that you do make a difference in someone’s life. I know that by being a part of the brain tumor program at St Jude, I am making a difference in many lives. That is why I love working at St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
