Join MAPCO in supporting St. Jude
MAPCO has been partnering with St. Jude since 2007, and they have raised over $1 million with the support of local communities to help save the lives of St. Jude kids around the world.
In honor of September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, MAPCO will give 25% of the proceeds from the sale of facemasks in their stores to St. Jude. They have set a goal of $100,000 for the campaign, which will run from September 1-30, 2020. Each dollar raised will help ensure that St. Jude families focus on what matters most, the health of their child.
Over the years, MAPCO has found many creative ways to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. MAPCO team members have run, walked, and volunteered in many Iocal fitness events including the St. Jude Walk/Run and the St. Jude Rock ’N’ Roll Marathon in Nashville. CEO Frederic Chaveyriat runs the half marathon and encourages employees to join the MAPCO team and fundraise for the kids of St. Jude. In 2020, MAPCO is donating $100 in honor of every employee who signs up to participate in the virtual St. Jude Walk/Run on September 26 with a goal of raising $40,000. MAPCO has also converted the annual MAPCO Giveback Golf Tournament to a virtual fundraiser and will continue to support St. Jude, even though they are unable to be together in person.
Whether they are donating personally or fundraising in their communities, MAPCO team members are committed to the fight against childhood cancer.
No matter what, we won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. Together, nothing is impossible.
