Join American Airlines in supporting St. Jude

The partnership between American Airlines and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® began in 2006 and has grown into a multifaceted collaboration that supports the hospital's mission through awareness, sponsorships, in-kind donations and innovative fundraising initiatives. Originally launched as an exclusive awareness partner for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, American Airlines has expanded its support in meaningful ways over the years.

Through these efforts, American Airlines has donated millions of AAdvantage® miles to support fundraising events, including dinners, golf tournaments and galas, helping generate critical funds for St. Jude patients and families. The airline has also provided sponsorship support for key fundraising events, helping increase awareness and charitable giving.

Beyond financial and in-kind support, American Airlines helps advance the St. Jude mission by airing public service announcements on inflight entertainment systems during the annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign. Employees further strengthen the partnership through payroll giving, matching gifts and volunteerism, reflecting a strong culture of philanthropy across the organization.

American Airlines also serves as the Official Travel Sponsor for marquee St. Jude events, including the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series and St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend, the hospital's largest single-day fundraising event. Through its sponsorships, in-kind contributions, employee engagement and fundraising support, American Airlines continues to be a valued partner in advancing the St. Jude mission of finding cures and saving children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
